1001 Philippine
Rice Genomes
A comprehensive genomics database cataloguing the genetic diversity of Philippine rice varieties — empowering breeding, conservation, and food security research.
Unlocking the genetic heritage of Philippine rice
The 1001 Philippine Rice Genome Portal is a Tripal-powered bioinformatics platform developed to catalogue, manage, and share whole-genome sequencing data of rice varieties collected across the Philippine archipelago.
Built in collaboration with UP, IRRI, DA-PhilRice, and partner agencies, this resource supports research in varietal improvement, disease resistance, climate adaptation, and conservation of indigenous rice germplasm.
Genomics Data Repository
Whole-genome sequences, SNP variants, and structural annotations for 1,001 rice accessions.
Bioinformatics Tools
BLAST search, JBrowse genome browser, and genotype search microservice integration.
Open Access
Freely available data supporting breeding programs, conservation, and food security research.
